One of my goals in ceramics is to make a really good quality hand-built mug - the ones in Anthropologie are such a source of inspiration for me. This mug didn't turn out exactly how I would have hoped. However I recently discovered a ceramic tool that is a bit of a game changer for me. This ceramic tool is a hobby scraper (not exactly sure what it is called but I shall link it). This tool allows me to create a really even surface and also to create a thin ridge. This then allows me to get a thinner edge for my hand-built mugs - YAY.
