Today in my ceramic studio I was inspired by 'Rosella' and her mandala cards that she creates. I love her cards for when I am feeling a bit low and I want a positive quote to focus on and cheer me up. Check out her website www.rosella-creations.co.uk as its full of positive inspiration. I have been feeling a bit low recently and I wanted to start making an effort to start to think more positive, surround myself with positivity and spread the positive feelings to other people. I think I have been a bit stuck in a rut lately I hope to come out of it soon.
These bowls are made using the pinch pot technique using crank clay. I sat listening to my headphones (Lana Del Rey - obsessed) and started to think positive thoughts while doodling on the bottom of the bigger pot. I like the results so far but the true test is always with the second firing I find. I have no idea what glazes I will use but I cant wait to see how they turn out.
