Exploring Corfu

The photos above were taken in New Town, Corfu. This was where I found all the best shops. Greeks know how to dress on point when it comes to keeping cool in summer. So I was trying to keep a look out for tips and explore the shops. The New Town is also where the locals hang out more so I really liked the vibe.

This was me shopping in Corfu Old Town. Here I was trying to look for the prefect basket bag so I could be all 'blogger'. The old town was definitely more touristy but still very much worth a visit. The old town is like walking around in a fairy tale everything is so beautiful.

By far the best and cheapest way to get around Corfu is by renting a scooter. I am pretending this is my scooter however in reality it was my dad's rental ... and I had to ride on the back. Things got a bit intense and stressey the first time we went exploring together. We got lost and when I tried to give my dad directions he refused to listen.

This is Glyfada Beach and it is paradise. The water is crystal clear and I could happily spend the rest of my life at this beach.

Another recommendation is exploring Liston Old Town. There is a row of cafes and I love just sitting there drinking a cold chocolate watching people walk by.

These photos are from when I visited the Asian Museum in Corfu. Definitely another recommendation if you are in Corfu Old Town. I love looking at Asian ceramics in particular to get inspiration for my own work.
