I decided to take a day trip to one of my favourite stomping grounds, Birmingham. I will always have a place in my heart for Birmingham as its where I went to uni and made some amazing friends.
I have been quite busy recently and haven't managed to shoot an outfit in ages. I find that if I don't do an outfit shoot for a while I get all the old insecurities coming back. However I just try and ignore those feelings and I feel so much better about myself after I've managed to push through and not let my insecurities stop me.
These chunky heels from New Look were completely out of my comfort zone but I really love them and they didn't break the bank. They go with pretty much everything in my wardrobe. I'm really on board with the pinafore trend, even though my Dad thought they should be reserved for toddlers.
