I feel like you can wear this dress in winter and carry right on wearing it through into spring. Once the warmer weather arrives team the dress up with bare legs, sandals and of course a basket bag and you're ready to go. I wanted a pop of red in my outfit (I think red and polka dot look so good together), maybe some earrings or a bag, but I haven't seen any I like recently. I managed to find a red door though, so I thought that would be the next best thing (smile).
